About this task
This retail chain (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Terms & Policies Drafter for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–18 h a month. Updates all public documents after a product change.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.
The company prefers a person who can come to Markham for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Update terms, privacy and DPA after the launch of AI features and track changes.
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 8 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
