About this task
This Real-estate services firm in logistics warehouses (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Business Development Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Finds and develops channel and technology partners.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It works in real estate and construction, where project documents change often.
The team sits in Montpellier. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Source 20 potential partners, hold first calls and hand five to the partnerships lead with a summary.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Thursday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Tuesday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
