About this task
This Travel-technology company with city hotels (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Business Development Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–7 h a week. Personal outreach that books first meetings.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.
The team sits in Long Beach. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Send 80 personalised messages a week, handle replies and book qualified meetings for the sales team.
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Monday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Wednesday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
