About this task

This Travel-technology company with resorts (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Learning & Development Designer for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–24 h a month. A set of short, practical lessons.

A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The company prefers a person who can come to Washington, D.C. for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

• Create ten five-minute lessons on data privacy basics for all employees.
• The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
• A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
• A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost

What a month looks like

• Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
• Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
• Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month

Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
