About this task

This machinery maker making industrial pumps (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Learning & Development Designer for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–24 h a month. A set of short, practical lessons.

A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in North Carolina, so this one is for residents there. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

  • Create ten five-minute lessons on data privacy basics for all employees.
  • A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
  • A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
  • A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week

What a month looks like

  • Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
  • Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
  • Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month

Duration: 8 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
