About this task

This Last-mile delivery company (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Learning & Development Designer for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–24 h a month. A set of short, practical lessons.

The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.

The team sits in Lynn. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

• Create ten five-minute lessons on data privacy basics for all employees.
• The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
• A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
• A month-end summary with hours used against the cap

What a month looks like

• Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
• Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
• Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month

Duration: 8 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
