About this task
This Series A subscription commerce company for children's clothing (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Business Development Manager for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 12–24 h a month. Whether and where to sell next.
A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.
The team sits in Thornton. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).
What you deliver
- Scan three new markets for demand, competitors and channels and recommend where to start.
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
