About this task

This Series B subscription commerce company for refurbished electronics (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Supply Chain Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Safety stock, reorder points and slow movers.

The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Sweden works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.

What you deliver

  • Recommend safety stock and reorder points for 400 SKUs to cut stock-outs by half.
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
  • One round of edits after the company's review is included

How the work runs

  • Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
  • Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
  • Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

Who fits

  • 2-5 years of hands-on work as a Supply Chain Analyst, or the equivalent mix of roles
  • Business-level Swedish as well as English: the documents and part of the team work in Swedish
  • Comfortable working in Excel and SAP
  • Your own work history stays private; the company sees a first name, your field and a rate

Nice to have

  • A habit of asking one clarifying question early rather than five late
  • Comfortable explaining numbers or decisions to a non-specialist reader

Not included

  • On-call availability outside the agreed window
  • Work outside the scope written in the brief; extra items are quoted separately
  • Anything that needs a signature in your own name unless the brief says so

How you get paid

  • The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
  • Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
  • You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
