About this task

This Series C online retailer for outdoor gear (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Part-Time Executive Assistant for an ongoing part-time engagement of 5–12 h a week. Sorts the inbox, drafts replies and protects focus time on the calendar.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.

The team sits in Cardiff. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

  • Triage an executive's inbox daily, draft replies and manage a calendar across two time zones.
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

  • Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
  • Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
  • Friday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
