About this task

This AI research company for drug discovery (5,000+ employees) is looking for a director AI Evaluator: HR for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 5–12 h a week. Rates AI answers about hiring, pay, leave and conduct.

Ratings are checked against a written rubric, and your notes go back to the team that builds the product. It builds AI products and needs human experts to check what the models produce.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Austria works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day.

What you deliver

• Rate 50 AI answers on leave policy, performance management and hiring practice with notes on jurisdiction.
• Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines
• Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field
• A weekly count of items reviewed, confirmed by the programme lead

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Monday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: Weekly batches for 6 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
