About this task
This corporate law firm advising lenders (201–500 employees) is looking for an executive Fractional COO for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Which roles, in which order and with what outcomes.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It is a law firm; confidentiality is absolute and every file is handled under supervision.
The team sits in Fairbanks. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Review the organisation and produce a six-quarter hiring plan with cost.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
