About this task

This mobility company in EV batteries (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager Reference-Answer Writer for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 4–10 h a week. Writes the criteria and scoring bands graders use.

The programme needs subject-matter experts who can tell a good answer from a plausible one in their own field. It is an automotive business with long programme cycles and a strong paper trail.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Canada works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day.

What you deliver

• Create rubrics for 12 question types with weights, examples and common mistakes.
• Ratings entered in the client's tool against the written rubric, with a one-line reason each
• Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines
• Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: Weekly batches for 6 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in CAD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
