About this task

This Series C B2B software company for hospitals and clinics (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Fractional CFO for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. A one-hour session with a senior finance leader on one decision.

The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.

The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Spain. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included.

What you deliver

• Review a founder's hiring plan against the cash forecast and answer three specific questions on timing.
• No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend
• A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session
• One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 3: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
