About this task

This automotive supplier (51–200 employees) is looking for a director Fractional CFO for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. A one-hour session with a senior finance leader on one decision.

The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. It is an automotive business with long programme cycles and a strong paper trail.

The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Netherlands. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Review a founder's hiring plan against the cash forecast and answer three specific questions on timing.
• A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session
• Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
• No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend

How the work runs

• Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
• Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
• Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
