Fractional CFO Advisory Hour (Zoom)

About this task

This Series A language-learning company for professional exams (51–200 employees) is looking for an executive Fractional CFO for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. A one-hour session with a senior finance leader on one decision.

A short, focused session replaces days of internal debate. It works in education, with a calendar built around terms and enrolment peaks.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Italy works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Review a founder's hiring plan against the cash forecast and answer three specific questions on timing.
• Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
• One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before
• A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session

How the work runs

• Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
• Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
• Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
