First-Round Screening Calls

About this task

This government IT contractor serving tax authorities (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Phone Screener for an ongoing part-time engagement of 5–12 h a week. Short structured calls against a scorecard with written notes.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It supplies the public sector, so documentation follows contract rules.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Lithuania works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (EET).

What you deliver

• Hold 25 thirty-minute screens a week and record notes against the five scorecard criteria.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Monday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
