About this task
This Series A accounting software company for property managers (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Accounts Payable Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Checks expense reports against policy and flags exceptions.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It operates in regulated payments and lending, so a written trail for every decision matters.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Audit 150 expense reports for policy breaches and duplicate claims and send a summary to finance.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Thursday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
