About this task

This Personal-care brand in baby care (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior HR Generalist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–7 h a week. The person employees e-mail with HR questions.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.

The team sits in Dresden. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Answer employee HR questions within a working day and log recurring topics for the monthly note.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Monday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
