About this task

This beverage company (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Edits drafts to a standard and coaches writers.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It produces and sells food and drink, with seasonal peaks and strict labelling rules.

The company prefers a person who can come to Prague for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Review 10 drafts a week against the style guide and give writers short, specific feedback.
• A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Wednesday: main working block (3 hours)
• Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
