About this task

This telecom software company (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Edits drafts to a standard and coaches writers.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.

The company prefers a person who can come to Ostrava for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Review 8 drafts a week against the style guide and give writers short, specific feedback.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Thursday: main working block (3 hours)
• Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
