About this task
This Growth-stage AI research company for customer support (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Privacy & GDPR Counsel for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Handles access and deletion requests within the legal deadline.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It builds AI products and needs human experts to check what the models produce.
The team sits in Chicago. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
