About this task

This Supply-chain software company (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Fractional Customer Success Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Checks usage, support and sentiment to find problems.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.

The team sits in Amarillo. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).

What you deliver

• Review health scores for 80 accounts and create action plans for the red ones.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
