About this task

This Travel-technology company (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Account Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Regular check-ins that keep customers happy and find expansion.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The team sits in Graz. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

• Run quarterly check-ins with 20 accounts and log what each customer needs next.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Monday: main working block (2 hours)
• Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
