About this task

This warehousing operator with cross-border freight (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Sales Operations Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Fields, stages and rules that keep CRM data usable.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.

The team sits in Des Moines. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

• Enforce stage definitions, fix duplicate and stale records weekly and report data quality to sales leadership.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

• Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Monday: main working block (2 hours)
• Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
