About this task
This boutique advisory firm for energy companies (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Fractional COO for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. One hour with an operations leader on a defined problem.
The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (MST).
What you deliver

- One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before
- Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
- A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 3: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
