About this task
This Last-mile delivery company with a cold-chain network (501–1,000 employees) is looking for an executive Fractional COO for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. One hour with an operations leader on a defined problem.
The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Texas, so this one is for residents there. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Advise a founder on scaling the customer onboarding team and list next steps.
- A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session
- Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
- No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
