About this task

This legal services provider advising lenders (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Which content works, why, and what to do next.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is a law firm; confidentiality is absolute and every file is handled under supervision.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Illinois, so this one is for residents there. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).

What you deliver

• Review the quarter's content by traffic, signups and assisted pipeline and recommend what to repeat.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Thursday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Friday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
