About this task

This online travel company with resorts (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Which content works, why, and what to do next.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Florida, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).

What you deliver

• Review the quarter's content by traffic, signups and assisted pipeline and recommend what to repeat.
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Monday: main working block (1 hours)
• Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
