About this task
This boutique advisory firm for family businesses (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Compensation & Benefits Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Supports annual merit, bonus and promotion cycles.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Pennsylvania, so this one is for residents there. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Prepare data, guidelines and tracking for the annual merit cycle for 150 employees.
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Thursday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
