About this task
This Growth-stage corporate card and spend platform for freelancers (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Compensation & Benefits Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Compares plans and costs before renewal.
The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It operates in regulated payments and lending, so a written trail for every decision matters.
The team sits in Santa Monica. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Compare three health plan quotes with cost per employee and coverage notes.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
