About this task

This Travel-technology company in corporate travel (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Social Media Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Replies to comments and messages in the brand's voice.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The team sits in Messina. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.

What you deliver

• Respond to comments and direct messages daily within four working hours.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Wednesday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
