About this task

This Restaurant-technology company in coffee (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior LinkedIn Ghostwriter for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Drafts replies and comments for the author.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It produces and sells food and drink, with seasonal peaks and strict labelling rules.

The company prefers a person who can come to Atlanta for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

• Draft thoughtful comments on 15 target-audience posts each week for review.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Friday: main working block (2 hours)
• Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
