About this task

This Seed workflow automation company for law firms (11–50 employees) is looking for a specialist LinkedIn Ghostwriter for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Drafts replies and comments for the author.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.

The company prefers a person who can come to Chicago for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).

What you deliver

• Draft thoughtful comments on 15 target-audience posts each week for review.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Friday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
