About this task

This digital media company covering technology (51–200 employees) is looking for a specialist Payroll Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Collects changes, runs the payroll and checks the register.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Denmark works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Run the bi-weekly payroll for 120 employees, compare to the prior run and resolve variances above 5%.
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
  • Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
  • Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
