What a real message looks like
Six things a real recruiter does
Writes from @deftridge.com
Never from Gmail, Outlook or a similar free address. Look at the address, not just the name.
Is on the team page
Every recruiter is listed with a name, a role and the same address.
Shows the rate first
Every task has an hourly rate. A message that avoids money is not ours.
Never asks you to pay
No fees, no software to buy, no deposits, no gift cards. Ever.
Does not rush you
No countdown, no "answer in an hour". You decide when you are ready.
Asks before sharing you
Your profile goes to a company only after your written OK.
