BI Analyst is one of the titles we hear most. These are the part-time roles where your experience carries over, what they pay per hour, and the tasks open now. About five hours a week, next to your main job.

BI analysts are asked for the reporting layer a small team cannot maintain alone: rebuild a broken dashboard, define metrics once so every report agrees, migrate reports to a new tool, or document the semantic model. Much of this work is project-based with a clear end, then a light monthly retainer for fixes.
State the tools you know well, because most briefs name one: Power BI, Tableau, Looker or a warehouse-native option. A short portfolio of anonymised screenshots helps more than a long list of skills. The fastest way to repeat work is a metric dictionary the company can keep using after you leave.
