About this task

This digital bank serving small businesses (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Briefs that writers can follow without a call.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a regulated bank; the work is documented and reviewed before anything is signed off.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Quebec, so this one is for residents there. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

• Produce eight article briefs a week with outline, sources, search intent and internal links.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Wednesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Friday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in CAD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
