About this task

This household products maker in baby care (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Briefs that writers can follow without a call.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.

The company prefers a person who can come to Kingston upon Hull for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

• Produce eight article briefs a week with outline, sources, search intent and internal links.
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Monday: main working block (2 hours)
• Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
