About this task
This performance marketing agency for B2B software (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a director Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Briefs that writers can follow without a call.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is an agency, so work is organised around client campaigns and approval rounds.
The team sits in Doncaster. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).
What you deliver
- Produce eight article briefs a week with outline, sources, search intent and internal links.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Wednesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Friday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
