About this task
This Series C expense management software company for mid-market companies (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Market Research Analyst for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–20 h a month. Interprets why deals were won or lost from calls and CRM data.
The company wants one reliable owner for a list of small jobs instead of five different people. It operates in regulated payments and lending, so a written trail for every decision matters.
The team sits in Oshkosh. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Review 60 closed deals and report the main reasons for wins and losses by segment.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 6 months, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
