About this task
This Last-mile delivery company (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Bookkeeper for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Codes bank and card transactions and queries unclear items.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.
The company prefers a person who can come to Lynn for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Code the week's transactions for a 12-person agency and send a short list of questions to the owner.
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Thursday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
