About this task
This telecom operator in mobile (51–200 employees) is looking for a specialist Bookkeeper for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Codes bank and card transactions and queries unclear items.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Canada works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Code the week's transactions for a 12-person agency and send a short list of questions to the owner.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Monday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
