About this task
This health charity (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Bookkeeper for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Codes bank and card transactions and queries unclear items.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is a nonprofit, so budgets are tight and grant reporting dates are fixed.
The company prefers a person who can come to Bozeman for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.
What you deliver
- Code the week's transactions for a 12-person agency and send a short list of questions to the owner.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Friday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
