Weekly Project Status Reporting

About this task

This hotel group (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Project Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. A short status report with risks and decisions.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The company prefers a person who can come to Trenton for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

• Send a one-page weekly status for a six-month programme with RAG ratings and decisions needed.
• A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Friday: main working block (2 hours)
• Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
