Weekly Project Status Reporting

About this task

This Series A telehealth provider for hospital groups (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Project Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. A short status report with risks and decisions.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in healthcare, so patient data is never part of the task and privacy rules are strict.

The team sits in Solihull. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

• Send a one-page weekly status for a six-month programme with RAG ratings and decisions needed.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Tuesday: main working block (2 hours)
• Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in GBP after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
