About this task
This aerospace supplier in space launch (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Project Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. A short status report with risks and decisions.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It works in aerospace, where change control and documentation are formal.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Canada works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Send a one-page weekly status for a six-month programme with RAG ratings and decisions needed.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
