About this task

This international nonprofit in food security (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Product Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–9 h a week. Owns the backlog and answers the team's product questions every week.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a nonprofit, so budgets are tight and grant reporting dates are fixed.

The team sits in Nicosia. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

• Groom the backlog, write acceptance criteria for the next sprint and answer open product questions within a working day.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Tuesday: main working block (3 hours)
• Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
