About this task

This hotel group with resorts (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Product Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–9 h a week. Owns the backlog and answers the team's product questions every week.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Nevada, so this one is for residents there. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).

What you deliver

  • Groom the backlog, write acceptance criteria for the next sprint and answer open product questions within a working day.
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

  • Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Wednesday: main working block (3 hours)
  • Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
