About this task

This Series B B2B software company for construction firms (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior LinkedIn Ghostwriter for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Three to five posts a week written in the author's voice.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.

The company prefers a person who can come to Carrollton for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).

What you deliver

• Write four posts a week for a CEO from a 20-minute call and a shared notes document.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

• Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Friday: main working block (2 hours)
• Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
