About this task
This publishing house covering technology (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Data Scientist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. A standing hour for the analytics team's modelling questions.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.
The company prefers a person who can come to Västerås for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Review the team's models and notebooks, answer questions and unblock two analysts a week.
- A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Thursday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Friday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
